We put our visitors first which is why we are so passionate about privacy. We look upon this as having the upmost importance!
This privacy policy describes how we obtain data (almost accidentally!), gather data and use it. We are very proud to say that we are amongst the most privacy conscious websites on the Internet.
Information that we obtain
Pretty much every website on Earth has weblogs. These provide some information about visits to the site. This information contains such factors as the number of visitors to the site, the date and time that they visited each webpage, the type of device that was used (for example, a desktop computer, tablet, mobile phone), the browser that was used, the operating system on the Internet enabled device. None of this information could be used to personally identify either the visitor or the visitor"s device.
IP addresses
Our logs also provide us with the IP addresses that the visitor was allocated during their visit. We will be honest and say that yes, it is theoretically possible to identify a visitor from that visitor"s IP address. This would require the cooperation of that visitor"s Internet service provider and would involve quite a considerable amount of work! It is inconceivable that this could be carried out on behalf of people like ourselves, or perhaps government agencies would have the power to do this.
The bottom line is; we couldn't identify any visitor from the IP address you if we wanted to. Whether or not government agencies would be able to do so is a different matter. We are not, however, a government agency.
Collection of other data
Our policy on this is simple. We don't do it. We do not have any mechanisms whatsoever for collecting any data about our visitors other than the information we receive from weblogs.
Information you provide us with
You may contact us with a query. We are very happy to communicate with our visitors and answer any questions they may have. Once we have answered those questions, we have no wish whatsoever to send out spam or any other type of annoying material, and we simply will not do so. We will save your communication on our computer system (which is protected by standard security features) solely so as to allow us to answer your query, and any follow-ups.
Deletion of your information
Having contacted us, you may wish us to delete any communications that we have. We will be delighted to do so if users contact us and let us know your wishes.
Cookies
Cookies are used by many websites in order to improve the experience of their visitors. Some websites however, including some of the biggest on the Internet, use them to gather personal information. We do not use cookies at all; full stop.
Processing of data
As we don't keep any data, we do not process it. We do take a look at our weblogs from time to time for purely statistical purposes, for instance to see which pages are the more popular ones.
Sharing of your data
We have no processes in place to share any data with anyone.
Exceptions to our normal privacy policy
If you contact us and we have reason to believe that harm is likely to come to either yourselves or a third party, or a crime has been committed, will be committed, we reserve the right to pass this information on to relevant authorities.
Changes to our policy
Times change, and so do laws, particularly those concerning Internet privacy. We may change this policy in the future, if legislation or changes in our trading patterns alter.
